❓What is Slyde?

Slyde brings the privacy of traditional finance to the Ethereum network.

Slyde ensures that the recipient of your transactions can only see that they received a payment, and not the exact origin of those funds. While there are currently other services offering private swaps and transfers, Slyde is simplifying the process immensely. By reducing the time and cost involved to complete private transactions, while also providing the previously non-existent luxury of maintaining a personal ledger and visibility of your transaction history, Slyde is simplifying privacy for all web3 users.

Similar to a Centralized Exchange (CEX), Slyde masks a senders specific address, but unlike a CEX does not take custody of your assets. This means that Slyde does not have the ability to freeze or control users' assets like a CEX would. It is not possible for Slyde to withhold users' funds.

Recipients of funds distributed by Slyde are only able to see that the funds came from the Slyde wallet, not what address deposited them or what wallet initiated the transaction.

All handling of funds occurs on the blockchain, with much of the data only visible to the account owner, all while ensuring your ability to send funds without the recipient or other prying eyes able to trace where the funds came from.
